Sinopsis
Cuando un profesor despide a otro, se citan fuera de la escuela para una pelea. En el último día del año, el amable profesor de inglés de colegio secundario Andy Campbell (Charlie Day) está haciendo lo posible para que no lo afecten por un lado las bromas de los alumnos del último año, y por otro una administración disfuncional y los recortes presupuestarios que ponen sus trabajos en peligro. Pero las cosas van de mal en peor cuando se cruza de forma accidental con un colega mucho más duro y temido, Ron Strickland (Ice Cube), quien desafía a Campbell a una pelea "a la antigua usanza" al término de las clases. La noticia sobre la pelea se propaga rápidamente, y termina convirtiéndose en aquello que quizá el colegio y el propio Campbell necesitaban
