Instructions

        1 Download and install the TiVo Desktop Software from the uniform resource locator (URL) (see Resources). The TiVo Desktop Software is used to get the video from your TiVo player to your computer.

        2 Open TiVo Desktop, left click the recording to transfer to your computer and select the "Pick Recording to Transfer" menu button. The TiVo Desktop will indicate when the transfer is complete.

        3 Download and install the Direct Show Dump Utility. Direct Show is used to convert TiVo files to MPEG Format.

        4 Open the Direct Show Dump program and select the TiVo files to convert to MPEG by selecting the "Add Files" menu option, left clicking the TiVo files and clicking the "OK" button. Direct Show Dump will indicate when the file transfer to MPEG format is complete.

Basicamente hay que descargar las capturas al pc con el "TiVo Desktop Software" y después hay que transcodificar de .tivo a .mpeg con la utilidad "Direct Show Dump".

Estoy descargando esos dos programas y voy a seguir tus indicaciones, a ver si puedo sacar el material del tivo. Que tengo un montón de cosillas.

Ya lo he instalado todo, lo referente a tivo dekstop, y me da este mensaje:
bonjour is required for Tivo desktop to work. Try restarting your computer or re-enable the service in control panel, administrative tools, services

He reiniciado el equipo y no ha servido para nada. Alguna idea?

Te pide activar el servicio Bonjour y reiniciar

Inicio/Ejecutar/services.msc y acepta, busca en el panel derecho el servicio Bonjour, en el apartado Tipo de inicio selecciona Automático, aplicar y aceptar.
Reinicia el equipo.
